The Grill Room's Sunday "Pork & Jazz" Special
Every Sunday, The Grill Room at the Windsor Court Hotel is now offering its “Pork & Jazz” menu with live music by the Mario Abney Quartet. The three-course menu is inspired by Executive Chef Drew Dzejak’s favorite animal to cook – the pig. Each course – salad, entrée and dessert – will feature a different presentation of pork, from delicacies like Kurobuta pork shoulder and Niman Ranch ribs to creative approaches such as caramel pecan ice cream with a candied maple bacon strip.
Along with the specialty menu, the Mario Abney Quartet will perform from 6 to 10 PM every Sunday. Abney, who has appeared on “Treme” and with Wynton Marsalis, is renowned for his trumpeting skills with his contemporary jazz ensemble.
The Pork & Jazz menu is $35 and will be available every Sunday night from 5:30 to 10 PM. Reservations can be made by calling 504.522.1994 or by Booking Online Now

The Grill Room's Wine Class Series
New Orleans residents and Windsor Court guests have an opportunity to become true wine connoisseurs with a little help from The Grill Room’s highly regarded Sommelier, Sara Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh will offer different classes each month, among them: tasting Old and New World wine side by side to gain an understanding of what makes them different, the art of blind tasting to learn how to taste like a professional, discovering champagne and sparkling wines, and many, many more. Eight different wines or champagnes from all over the globe are part of each class. Classes are at 6pm. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 504-522-1994.
