Cocktail Bar - A Modern Take on Classic Cocktails 

New in 2012 to Windsor Court Hotel and as part of the recent $22 million restoration, the Cocktail Bar at Windsor Court is taking a modern, culinary approach to its cocktails by creating original craft drinks inspired by pre-prohibition themes and ingredients. Cocktail Bar’s mixologists work closely with the hotel’s Executive Chef on incorporating culinary techniques into their cocktail creations. For example, the drink Lion Amongst Ladies features Damiana, lemon, flamed orange peel and “2 Hour” kumquat tequila, which is infused using sous vide.

But Cocktail Bar is more than just a place in New Orleans for cocktails.  The beer and wine program are designed to be second to none in the city. The menu features

• The best craft Belgian beers, available as single bottles and bombers
• Emerging wine producers and regions, such as sparkling wine from Hungary and Lebanese red wines, among others.

The Experience of Cocktail Bar

Each guest of Cocktail Bar is welcomed with a booze amuse, a take on an amuse-bouche, featuring a cocktail or punch of the day. The cocktail menu will change seasonally and will expand in the future. Guests are encouraged to ask the bartenders to create off-menu customized cocktails according to their flavor profile.

Cocktail Bar Hours:

Tuesday & Thursday:  opens at 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday & Friday:  opens at 5:00 p.m.
Sunday & Monday:  CLOSED
