Four Star / Four Diamond Dining in New Orleans

The Grill Room has received many awards and recognition over the years, being particularly proud of our four star New Orleans dining and four diamond New Orleans dining designations.

In February, 2010, New Orleans CityBusiness recognized Executive Chef Drew Djezak, Pastry Chef Shun Li, and Bartender Roger Blais as Culinary Connoisseur recipients. The Grill Room was chosen as one of the three top New Orleans fine dining establishments.  Then in the March 12, 2010, edition of The Times-Picayune, acclaimed restaurant writer Brett Anderson declared in his headline, “The Grill Room Reclaims Its Greatness.” Earning “Four Beans”, (the equivalent of ‘excellent’ on The Times­-Picayune scale,) the Grill Room shows that it has regained its reputation as one of the premier New Orleans fine dining restaurants.

The Grill Room Restaurant in downtown New Orleans received the 2011 Forbes Four Star Award from Forbes Travel Guide, (formerly Mobil Travel Guide.) The Grill Room is one of only two Louisiana restaurants to receive a four star New Orleans dining ranking. According to Forbes Travel Guide, the rating signifies the restaurant to be “of the finest establishments in the world, delivering guests an experience beyond expectations.”  Combine this with the Four Diamond New Orleans dining designation of AAA, and The Grill Room is ready to exceed all expectations.
